Books are not the only “help with debt problems” option. While they are nice because they are references on how to get help with debt problems you can hold, there are other options that will get the concepts to you in different formats. Every person learns differently so try a bunch of these options until you find the method that will work best for you.
Seminars
Seminars are great for those of us who require extra motivation. Some people’s attitudes are infectious and you just can’t help, but want to do what they are teaching because you want to be excited like them. If you enjoyed the pep rally at school you’ll love the seminar setup.
Groups
Groups are great for those of us who are social. We can see that others have problems very similar to our own and the losses can come as warning for us and their victories are real and motivating. Very good for skeptics who feel that it’s just not possible for the normal person to get out of debt.
Mentors
Mentors are good for people who have trouble keeping with a plan or won’t dig deep enough to make any real traction on paying down debts. The mentor will look at your life from the view of where it could be and challenge you to cut the budget down further or make smarter decisions. They will also be an oversight for you financial life that you know will challenge you if you are about to make a bad call.
Classes
We intellectuals love classes. We love to know every formula and every bit of history on how the new “best” has come to be. If filling your head with every fact makes you feel like you have a better chance of succeeding go for it. Even though the best certificate is just being debt free.
These are great options that can give some information on how to get help with debt problems, but the next step is to take action and actually put what you learn into motion! You can do this, seriously, but you have to start somewhere and get the information you need to succeed into transforming your life into a financially free and prosperous life! One that you own, not someone else!
